Junior Accountant (Shipping) – Limassol

Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an established ship management and ship-owning Company, is seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant;

Responsibilities:
Maintain proper accounting records
Coding and posting of incoming invoices
Issuing and posting of outgoing invoices
Prepare bank and vessel reconciliations
Posting of Bank Statements in accounting software
Preparation of Payment Proposals for Crew & Admin
Preparation of Manual Payments
Prepare accounting related reports and assist supervisor
Communication with clients and agents

Qualifications:
Past experience is an advantage but not required
Holder of an accounting related certificate (LCCI Level 3 is an advantage)
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Computer proficiency (MS Office)
Excellent communication skills and high sense of responsibility
