Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a Forex Company with offices in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Junior QA Engineer;

Responsibilities:
Conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs
Understand and analyze business requirements, features, and technical implementation
Create and execute test cases and report testing status to project teams, in order to identify software problems
Work closely with development team to analyze and resolve conflicts
Raise and analyze bugs and errors found during tests
Document results of tests for the software development team
Execute manual test cases on areas that cannot be automated
Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
Enhance software delivery and quality throughout the entire software development cycle
Post-production deployment validations
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field
1 year of relevant experience in software testing will be considered as an advantage
Knowledge of and experience with QA methodologies
Experience in performance testing, integration testing and test automation (e.g, Selenium or similar) will be consider as an advantage
Practical software development experience on any programming language will be consider as an advantage
Experience in agile software development methodologies and testing procedures will be consider as an advantage
Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal skills in English
Ability to quickly learn
Growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas
Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data
