Job Description
Advance Career Ltd on behalf of our client an established Asset Management organization we seek to recruit a Russian Speaking Financial Controller to join the team in their premises in Limassol:
Responsibilities:
Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information.
Oversight and control of the bookkeeping for a Group of entities in different jurisdictions. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies (Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, etc).
Consolidation and preparation of quarterly financial statements.
Preparing consolidated cashflow and transactional reports for the Group.
Assist in the preparation of the regulatory reporting.
Assist in preparation of the Group budget.
Support month/quarter-end and year-end close process.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
Lead the annual audit for few entities and funds.
Issue sales invoices on behalf of the entities and the funds.
Dealing with suppliers, customers, overseeing office contracts (lease, office maintenance, other).
Working with the Group and external accountants, lawyers, advisors on different projects.
Additional controller duties and assistance to the CFO as necessary.
Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (preferably ACCA/ACA), 5+ years
Experience of working in the financial services, ideally investment management.
Previous experience working with accountancy packages / ERP systems.
Understanding and experience with the regulatory requirements and filings.
Self-starter and ability to work with autonomy.
Excellent organization and administration skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experienced at working with external parties – accountants, fund administrators, lawyers.
Russian speaking.
