Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an Investment Firm operating in Nicosia, is looking to recruit a Regulatory Compliance & AML Officer;

Responsibilities:
Reporting to Senior Management and to the Board, the successful candidate will be the Regulatory Compliance & AML Officer of the Company. The role will carry out the following non-exhaustive functions:

Monitoring the development of the internal compliance/AML manuals, policies and procedures, and ensuring their correct and effective implementation.
Assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures, policies and procedures put in place and the actions taken to address any deficiencies in the Company’s compliance with its obligations.
Advising and assisting the Company’s employees to comply with the Company’s obligations under the applicable legislation.
Reviewing new regulations and advising on necessary actions to be taken.
Liaising with Regulatory Authorities and ensuring that reporting obligations towards them are fulfilled.
Identifying, examining and reporting any suspicious activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing.

Qualifications:
University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or other related field.
Holder of CySEC advanced certification.
A related professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA, BAR, etc.) will be considered as an advantage.
Good understanding of the financial services industry and practices.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both oral and written.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
High attention to detail
