Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a  Software Solutions Organisation located in Limassol, is looking to recruit a Med/Senior German Speaking Support Engineer;

Be part of a product team
Perform full analysis to determine the root cause of bugs, failures and discrepancies
Evaluate and communicate the test results, success criteria and test coverage
Production and test environments health monitoring
Monitor production systems and provide control and alert mechanisms
Usability and user experience (UX) testing
Support in system integration and installation of test systems
Propose Agile test methods within the best practises (including Infosec) into our development processes
Provide 1st and 2nd level of support and bug fixing as member of the Site Reliability team
Obtain and report quality metrics and KPIs

University Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Technology or equivalent
Fluency in German language – Native Speaking only
Fluency in English language in essential
Experience within a B2B SaaS multi-tenant platform
Best practises in QA and infosec awareness
Highest level of quality awareness and solid knowledge regarding test procedures in the software development process
Experience with cloud (Azure)
Excellent communication skills
Strong team player
Proactive with a ‘Can do’ attitude
Eager to learn
Flexibility in travelling abroad as and when required

Preferred skills and experience (not mandatory):
Prior experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, Chimpy etc
Prior experience as test engineer in the context of Java, .NET C#, JavaScript and Android
Experience in the context of Agile software development and appropriate test methods
Experience in continuous delivery process
Experience in integrating automated tests in the build/delivery chain
Experience in operational work (business applications administration & maintenance, help desk, problem management).
Experience with Database management
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker
Experience with orchestration tools and CI/CD pipeline (i.e. Octopus, Bitbucket, Confluence, Nexus, ELK Stack,Git, Teamcity, CircleCI)
Knowledge of ITIL /DevOps
