Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a Forex Company with offices in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Junior Compliance Associate;

Responsibilities:
Assisting the Head of Compliance with all matters in respect of anti-money laundering, market abuse, financial crime and reporting to the relevant regulators and authorities when required.
Arranging the day-to-day work of the Compliance department and working with the rest of the team to ensure deadlines are met, including ensuring monitoring is completed in a timely manner, queries are dealt with promptly and all in line with regulatory requirements.
Responsible for preparing the monthly Compliance management information and assisting the Head of Compliance with the preparation of management information for various Committees and Working Groups.
Assisting the Head of Compliance in preparing and submitting compliance related returns to the relevant regulators as required.
Performing regular compliance monitoring to determine the effectiveness of the firm’s systems and controls and overseeing implementation of any remediation action as required.
Handling CySEC information requests and customer complaints in an appropriate and timely manner and record and review such requests/complaints as required.
Assisting the Head of Compliance to ensure that the firm has adequate supervisory systems and controls in place, to continually review the effectiveness of the firm’s policies, procedures and systems and establish internal controls and make appropriate changes when necessary.
Writing and updating appropriate policies and procedures in relation to compliance and regulatory matters including the compliance manual.
Assisting the Head of Compliance with the preparation of CySEC applications for Senior Management Functions.
Reviewing and approving the firm’s marketing material.

Qualifications:
Fluency in English – both verbal and written.
Degree in Law, or related field.
2 years of experience in a Compliance role within a regulated Firm.
Excellent knowledge of CySEC Laws and regulations applicable to CIFs.
Exceptional skills in documenting and processing formation.
Work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changes.
High attention to detail and professional attitude.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels.
