Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an Investments Company based in Limassol, is seeking to recruit an IT Administrator;


Support (Local and Overseas Offices):
User Access control/troubleshooting (Active Directory)
Email server handling (Exchange), Email Archiving (Veritas EV), VPN Access (Cisco)
Company Access issues with servers/services (Fileservers, Application servers, CUCM)
Internet Web Control (ISE, Umbrella)
Software Inventory: License review/ordering/renewal, Invoicing review with Accounting Department
Workstation/laptop setup/troubleshooting/warrantees/replacements
Workstation accessories (mouse, keyboard, monitor, printer) problems handling/replacements/inventorying
Printer maintenance/configuration/troubleshooting (Canon, HP)
New deployments: Hardware installation/removal/relocation, Switches/Routers, 4G-Modems, Workstations (laptops, docking stations), Desk and Wireless Phones (Cisco), Printers, Cabling, Monitors, TVs, AV equipment, UPS
Software updates/patches: On Servers, On Laptops/AIOs, On Printers, On Cisco IP Phones, On Mobile devices
Helping external office visitors for Internet access or other IT matters
Assisting external support engineers for IT related jobs
Supporting Management for Conference video calls over internet (Cisco)

IT Security:
AD Group Policies, Email delegations/access, Antispam servers (Fortimail), File server Access Permissions
Antivirus server and clients monitoring (Symantec), Firewall administration (Cisco), VPN (Cisco)
IT Best Practices review and update of Processes and Procedures
Disaster Recovery (VEEAM backups and Replications)

Server Rooms Administration (Three Physical Locations Maintained In-House):
Environmental variables checking (AVTECH, NTI)
24/7 Email/SMS Alerting for problems with the environmental variables
Updating environmental devices (RoomAlert) firmware and monitoring software (DeviceManager) with latest releases
Cooling Units check-up for proper operation and maintenance scheduling with provider
Monitoring and Maintenance of UPS (periodic check-up) – escort of external technician
Periodic maintenance (clean-up of the room, patch cords tidiness, improvements, additions, removals)

Inventory/Stock control:
Physical assignment of devices and accessories to users
Stock Control in warehouse and Storages – Documentation

Work with the Facilities Administrator for the below topics whenever is required

Physical Security:
Camera solution (Cameras, Camera Switch, Front Desk Entrance View monitors): check, maintenance, troubleshooting. Work with External Support engineers when necessary
Alarm system maintenance: escort technicians for maintenance/issues. Also, notified 24/7 for general alarm system issues by Alarm Company Centre
Users Check-in Device and Software maintenance – Periodic checking, troubleshooting, updating, reporting to management
Documentation of keys/keyfobs for the Office building
Storages safe keeping of stock items and inventory
Warehouse safe keeping of IT items – inventory of Stocked items

Maintenance/arrangements/follow up with external contractors (HQ, DR, Warehouse):
Power Generators, Office General repairs, AV, EAC, Fire system (Office and server rooms), UPS, Alarm, Cameras

Power Generator operation:
Weekly check – fuel level, proper working confirmation, Full-load tests quarterly, Follow up with generator technician visits (HQ and DR sites), 24/7 SMS notification for operation changes

University Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications and work experience in the specific IT job.
Hands-on experience on IT related field of more than 15 years
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Greek languages
Knowledge and hands-on experience on: Users Administration (Microsoft’s AD, Exchange), Systems Administration, Network equipment (Cisco: routers, switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points), Windows OS (win servers, win10), End Users support (in-person, phone, email), Microsoft Office
The following will be considered as an advantage: Virtualization technology background (VMWare), Certifications related to Microsoft, Cisco or other commercial or engineering bodies, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity experience, Wireless technology experience
Self-discipline (meet deadlines, setting and adhering a schedule, follow-up on tasks until resolution)
Ability to prioritize tasks – multitasking handling
