Job Description
Advance Career Ltd on behalf of our client a well established Group of Companies, seeks to recruit an Internal Auditor to join their dynamic Team based in Limassol:
Responsibilities:
Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and the operational performance quality of regulated entities such as Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs), Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and their Managers (AIFMs), Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs), and Administrative Service Providers (ASPs).
Conduct on-site inspections of the systems and premises of regulated firms and interview key personnel to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Ensure that regulated firms maintain and implement policies required by applicable legislation. Regularly review and evaluate their compliance practices.
Identify any significant findings or weaknesses, assess the associated risks (considering the probability of occurrence and potential impact), and provide actionable recommendations for improvement to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
Work closely with other team members on specific assignments or special projects, contributing to the overall success of the tasks at hand.
Maintain strong communication skills and build positive relationships with subordinates, business associates, and Regulatory authorities during the execution of duties.
Attend client meetings alongside the manager, following the prepared agenda to ensure successful and efficient engagements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in economics or finance or accounting or risk Management or Law or related.
A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an advantage.
1-2 years of experience in a similar role position
CySEC certificate (Basic or Advanced) for the provision of investment services will be considered as an advantage.
Fluent in English and Greek language, both verbal and written (knowledge of any other language shall be considered an advantage).
Team player, highly organised, able to multitask, work well under pressure and deliver on time.
Strong communication skills.
Computer literate
