Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an established Shipowner and Shipmanagement Organization in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer;

Responsibilities:
Manning of the assigned ships under compliance with the law and budgets of the Company
Employment contract, Job descriptions, internal rules and regulations
Legal requirements
Carry out the administration aspect of crewing as instructed by head of department.
Conduct selection of qualified Crew Members in accordance with the Company’s and Clients standards and vessel’s requirements.
Manning of Ship’s Crew in accordance with approved manning lists.
Arrange Crew changes planned and enforced.
Arrange travel and accommodation for on-signing and off-signing crew.
Ensure that travelling crew have valid travel documents.
Ensure that seafarers hold proper qualifications and STCW Certifications prior joining the vessel.
Issuing employment contracts and other travel related documents.
Liaising with HR Manager, HR Officers and HR Travel Coordinator on HR related queries.
Maintain and update Crew Database.
Review the performance appraisals of crew.
Input all data relevant to payroll in a timely manner
Ship visits
Supporting in other Human Resources related projects

Qualifications:
At least 1-2 years’ experience in shipping / crewing
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Good organizational and communication skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office
Previous experience with Radiant Fleet is a plus
Ability to work with strict deadlines and under pressure
