Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a Property Development Organization in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Head of Finance;

Manage the Financial Department, developing, implementing and upgrading financial systems and controls;
Set up the finance control system;
Conducts financial research, analyses financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends;
Control of efficiency in overall accounting, finance and business processes of the company;
Supervising the department employees and managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner;
Improve the processes in order to increase the effectiveness and the performance of the financial team;
Involvement in strategic initiatives of the company concerning accounting and financial matters;
Perform effective and competent strategic planning and analytical tasks;
Monitor the company’s financial budget preparation, monitor and forecast cash flow projections for ongoing projects;
Ensuring Tax compliance;
Design the financial policies, rules, and regulations for the better functioning and performance of the whole company;
Cost planning and budget estimating and approval, management of financial risks and opportunities, including variations against budgets and forecasts;
Leading in the process of development, update and maintenance of projects financial models, participation in the negotiation process with banks and investors;
Prepare tax and auditing reports, P&L reports;
Lead, coach and develop a team to increase performance and contribute in achieving business goals;
Accounts control monitoring and keeping track of the accountants;
Report to the Board of Directors/CEO, and supervise business performance.

Higher education and ACCA certification
At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position (after ACCA completion)
Experience in financial management of companies
Excellent knowledge of the accounting software
Completion of ACCA, M.P.A. would be an advantage
Good knowledge of Greek and English languages
Knowledge of Russian language would be an advantage
Excellent organization skills
Able to work under pressure
