Advance Career Ltd on behalf of our client rapidly growing Information Technology  Services Provider, seeks to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer to join their dynamic team:

Responsibilities:
Provide first and second level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote tools
Perform desktop hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and maintenance
Configure and deploy desktop operating systems and software applications
Provide mobile device support (iOS and Android)
Maintain client systems’ security by ensuring anti-virus, anti-malware, and other security software and systems are up-to-date
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
Maintain accurate documentation of client systems and configurations
Collaborate with senior engineers to escalate and resolve complex issues
Participate in on-call rotation and perform after-hours support when necessary

Qualifications:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred but not required. Industry certifications are a plus.
2-4 years of experience in I.T. support or related field
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with desktop virtualization technologies
Familiarity with remote support tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, ConnectWise Control
Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is a plus
