Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client a Corporate Services organization, is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper;

Responsibilities:
Posting of accounting entries in accounting software
VAT reconciliations
Assessing agreements for any tax or VAT implications
Completion of tax and VAT forms
Bank reconciliations
Communicate with clients either by telephone or e-mails
Liaise with the audit/banking departments
Liaise with government authorities
Electronic and hard copy filing of any kind of accounting, corporate and banking documents

Qualifications:
Higher or CAT diploma in accounting will be considered as an advantage
1-5 years’ experience in the field of accounting preferably of international clients
Excellent verbal/written communication skills in the English Language
Knowledge of SOFIA and CYCOM accounting software will be considered as an advantage
Computer Literate
Good Knowledge of applying VAT to international clients
Basic Knowledge of the Cyprus Tax Legislation
Experience with International clients is preferable
