Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an Accounting & Audit Services company located in Limassol, is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper/Accountant;

Responsibilities:
Preparation of book keeping/accounting records for international and local clients
Preparation of monthly reconciliations for banks, debtors, creditors etc.
End to end processing of clients’ payroll
Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES returns
Registrations with the Tax, VAT and Social Insurance services
Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance regarding all accounting functions and responsible for compliance with tax requirements and reporting to relevant authorities
Documentation and filing of accounting transactions in an organised manner
Liaison with the audit department

Qualifications:
Preferably five (5) years of accounting/bookkeeping experience in an accounting/audit firm
Having a professional qualification will be considered an advantage
An academic background in Accounting and Finance will be considered an advantage
Good personality with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team
Attention to detail and strong numerical skills
Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft office
Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written. Good knowledge of the Russian language will be considered an advantage
Knowledge of Caseware and E-Soft Accounting System will be considered an advantage
