Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client a Shipping company, is seeking to recruit an experienced Accountant; 

Responsibilities:
Record bookkeeping transactions and maintenance of the General Ledgers
Managing day to day transactions, completing Bank/Debtors/Creditors Reconciliations
Preparation and Submission of VAT reports, VIES returns.
Processing invoices, receipts, payments and manage various day to day accounting related tasks
Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting & Finance
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping role
Previous exposure within International companies such as financial service providers, investment companies
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel – formulas, spreadsheet formulation, Word, PowerPoint)
Very good organizational and planning skills
Fluency in Greek and English
Ability to work independently and within a team
