Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client an international bank seeks to recruit an Account Manager in Nicosia;

Responsibilities:
Attend client meetings to facilitate delivery of credit products;
Conduct credit analysis of potential clients with attention to credit risk (including financials, cash-flow projections, business environment, client’s profile) in order to determine financial position and repayment ability;
Draft credit applications (including risks assessment reports, financial and industry analysis), annual reviews, credit modifications;
Assist in preparation of credit proposals for Credit Assets and Liabilities Committee (CALCO) approval;
Contact clients and other third parties, for additional information and details related to loan request or clarification of financial materials and resources;
Coordinate loan documentation including work with other internal Bank departments, or outside parties, to obtain the necessary documents so as to ensure all loans are documented in a way that fully protect the Bank’s interests;
Draw up and duly execute the relevant documentation on granting loans and registering collaterals;
Perform quarterly financial reviews of borrower’s financial condition including monitoring covenants and by managing re-evaluations of mortgages and collaterals. Take a proactive approach towards resolution, and escalate potential credit issues;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all Bank lending policies and regulations.

Qualifications:
University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or in a related field;
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in underwriting commercial credit loans is required;
Strong credit analysis and accounting skills;
Excel modeling skills;
Ability to take initiative and deliver results in a dynamic environment;
Excellent organisational skills;
Attentive to detail;
Ability to communicate skillfully and effectively in both verbal/written forms;
Fluent in both Greek and English.
